Advancing equity is the World Health Organization pandemic treaty&rsquo;s goal. O'Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law, Foundation for the National Institutes of Health, and UNAIDS convened experts in biomedical science, human rights, finance, patient advocacy, and other areas to examine innovative mechanisms.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
On February 15, the O'Neill-FNIH-UNAIDS launched the report, Advancing a World Together Equitably: WHO Collaborating Centre Global Consultation on Equity Models for a Pandemic Agreement in Support of the World Health Organisation and Intergovernmental Negotiating Body.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
The report followed the January WHO expert summit in Geneva on the range of possible models in global health law that assert equity as a priority and analysed them for possible inclusion in a new instrument. The Humanitarian Finance Forum was invited to participate in the summit and was represented by Board Member Helen Alderson.
